The Zwischen den Hölzern Lido offers open-air bathing and is located in a rural and forest setting in Oberengstringen, approximately 8.5 km northwest of Zürich. Under lifeguard supervision, the 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms, a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a teaching pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a water slide, pool accessories, a children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a restaurant and a barbeque area.
