Located about 6 km north of St Gallen, the Wittenbach Bathing Complex offers comprehensive open-air and indoor swimming under lifeguard supervision. Outdoors, the 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a 30-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre boards and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a water slide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. There is a 25-metre heated indoor pool and facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a sauna, solarium and a kiosk and restaurant. Massage and other spa services are available.
