Glattfelden lies some 19 km southwest of Bad Zurzach and the Wiesengrund Lido is an attractive open-air bathing complex, located on the banks of the River Glatt, just before its junction with the Rhine. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool, all under lifeguard supervision. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is also a restaurant.
