Located at Seuzach, about 5 km north of Winterthur, the Schwimmbad Weiher is a solar heated open-air bathing complex, with a full range of pools and facilities under lifeguard supervision. The 33-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a 20-metre non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a 69-metre waterslide, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and a sauna and there is parking, a kiosk, a restaurant and barbeque area.
