The Strandbad Wädenswil (also known Stranbad Rietliau) is located approximately 4 km northwest of Richterswil next to the marina and is an attractive place to swim in Lake Zürich. Features include floats, diving platforms, a sandy beach, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. There is a kiosk/restaurant and boats can be hired. Wädenswil also has a second lake bathing area to the southeast, the Brättli-Badi (tel. +41 (0)44 780 51 30) which has floats, a sunbathing area, kiosk, changing cubicles showers and toilets.
