Wädenswil is located about 4 km northwest of Richterswil and, in addition to its lake swimming areas of Strandbad Wädenswil and Brättli-Badi (see separate entry), has the Hallenbad Untermosen indoor bathing complex. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool at 29°C is complemented by a 17-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool both at 32 °C. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms and a sunbathing area. Facilities include a kiosk, sauna, solarium, fitness centre, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Fitness classes and massage are available. The complex is open throughout the year, except for a maintenance period in July/August.
