The town of Wattwil, located about 25 km northeast of Rapperswil-Jona, has a very nice open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision and with a sandy beach. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a waterslide, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, boules, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a restaurant and also a nearby mini-golf course.
