The Rocher de l’eau pendante (Rock of hanging water) is found deep in the forest of Saint Georges, on the route to the Refrigerator (see separate entry). This spectacular waterfall is said to have a mysterious source. No one is supposed to know where it begins and it has, apparently, never dried up. Apart from the beauty of the falls, it is said to be a place of pure and clean water and is pointed out to hikers and walkers as a safe place to take refreshment and fill water bottles.
