The Wallisellen Water World is located about 9 km northeast of Zürich and has both indoor and outdoor pools under lifeguard supervision. The 50-metre open-air swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool (there are similar swimmers’ and children’s pools indoors, plus a diving pool). Other features include a 75-metre tube slide, pool accessories, 1-metre, 3-metre and 5-metre diving platforms, a children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a kiosk, restaurant and a barbeque area.
