The Hallenbad Wald indoor bathing complex in Wald, about 12 km northeast of Raperswil-Jona, offers a winter and inclement weather alternative to the open-air Sunnetal Lido (see separate entry). Extensively overhauled in 2006, the 25-metre by 12.5-metre 29°C heated swimming pool is under lifeguard supervision and is supplemented by a whirlpool; there also various pool accessories. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets and a solarium. Fitness classes are available. Whilst there are no food outlets, there is an automatic coffee and snack dispenser.
