Located about 15 km southeast of Yverdon-les-Bains, the Vuissens Golf Club is adjacent to a 12th century castle and its clubhouse is one of the restored barns. The club was formed in 1997, but the 18 hole course was only completed in 2002; designed by Jeremy Pern, it measures 6,179 metres and has a par rating of 72. Set in an estate of 52 hectares (128 acres) and framed by forests, it is a good test of golf. Facilities include a driving range, pitching and putting greens, pro shop and restaurant. Golf clubs, trolleys and carts can be hired.
