The Schwimmbad Ursenbach is an open-air bathing complex located in rural surroundings, approximately 24 km southeast of Sololthurn. More than 100 years ago, in days when bathing was segregated, it was one of the first municipalities in the Berne canton to have a pool. The swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a waterslide, various pool accessories, a beach volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include a restaurant, changing cubicles, showers and toilets.
