The Swiss Fashion Museum owns a rare and valuable collection of elegance and clothing, comprising more than 5,000 garments and accessories, ranging over two centuries. In addition to the permanent exhibition of these historic garments and details of their provenance, the museum also holds temporary exhibitions showing the technique of shape forming; the important phase of the cloth fabrication that takes place between the design and the finishing.
