The Swiss Air Force Museum is located at Dübendorf, southeast of Zürich. Enlarged and reopened in 1988, the museum is divided into the following time periods, Pioneer Days, World War I, the 1930s, World War II (and the years following), the beginning of the jet age, the development of the jet fighter, the Cold War, Disarmament. The exhibits include aircraft and aircraft engines, photographs, documents, navigational instruments and models. There are also flight and parachute simulators with instructors, but check the days, times and minimum ages for these. There is a restaurant on site.
