The Stained Glass Walk (le sentier des vitraux) is located on the heights of Saillon. It leads visitors through the vines and the medieval streets with 21 giant stained works of art gleaming like gems in the sun. This path is a true artistic masterpiece. Robert Héritier drew the designs and Théo Imboden created the stained glass images. From the first, entitled Invitation, these stained glasses speak of man’s progress through life. The path takes approximately 45 minutes to walk, starting from La Place Farinet. The tourist office will organize guided tours for groups of eight or more.
