Of interest to all farmers and those associated with agriculture generally, the Spoerri Agricultural Collection is located at Ehrikon-Wildberg, approximately 15 km southeast of Winterthur. Established in 1997 by Ernst Spörri (1932-2005) and his wife, the museum has a comprehensive collection of agricultural equipment and engines. The exhibits cover the period from early motorisation onwards and include over 70 reaping machines, tractors, soil treatment and crop spraying machines, together with scythes seeders, ploughs, household appliances and other items of hand equipment. There is a bistro serving coffee, cakes, beer, wine and snacks.
