The Spiez Lido is located approximately 10 km south of Thun and offers very good facilities. The 50 metre outdoor pool (minimum temperature 24 °C) has diving platforms; there is a paddling pool with slide and a wading pool. One of the features is an 86 metre water slide and there is a recreation room, a lawn with direct access to the lake and a terraced restaurant. Sporting facilities include two tennis courts, a beach volley ball court and an 18 hole mini-golf course. Loungers and umbrellas can be hired and there are parking areas within short walking distance.
