Located off the coast road, approximately 11 km northwest of Rapperswil, Strandbad Sonnenfeld offers lake bathing with good facilities and is another attractive place for a family outing. There is a non swimmers’ pool in the lake and a children’s paddling pool on-shore. Other features include a diving tower with one-metre and three-metre boards, a float, children’s playground, grassed sunbathing with shade, a beach volleyball court and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a restaurant and a BBQ place.
