Located some 5 km south of Thalwil, the Sihlwald Nature Centre is the gateway to the Sihl forest, a natural wooded area. The centre has changing, nature related, exhibitions, an information centre and a coffee and gift shop. There is a wide choice of activities and guided tours. Themed gardens, walking trails, a forest adventure trail and a watchtower are among the attractions. Visitors can learn about the natural forest cycle and commercial forest plantations, go on an amphibian trail or stroll along the raised walkway through the bog forest.
