The Schönenberg Golf and Country Club, which was founded in 1967, is located about 10 km west of Richterswil. The 18-hole course, which is undulating with water hazards, is both attractive and well designed. It was laid out by golf architect Donald Harradine, measures 6,205 metres with a par rating of 72 and is a true test of golf. Facilities include a driving range, putting green, pitching green, practice bunker, pro shop and restaurant. There are golf clubs, hand and electric trolleys available for hire.
