Located between Schmiedrued and Walde, about 12 km north of Sursee, the Schwimmbad Schmiedrued-Walde is a pleasant open-air bathing complex. The swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and for picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area and a restaurant.
