If you are visiting the Rhine Falls (see separate entry) consider seeing them from one of the viewpoints on the south bank. There is a footpath leading from the parking lot to the 192 metre long Rheinfallbrücke and a further 15 minute walk brings you to the 16th century restored Schloss Laufen, which is now a restaurant. Walk through the park and there are a number of viewing points, Pavillon, Känzli and the Fischez, which brings you in very close contact with the river. The church on Rheinfallweg is also of interest.
