One of the largest climbing centres in the world, with over 4,000 m² of climbing surface, the Kletterzentrum Gaswerk in Schlieren was opened in 1994 and caters for all grades from beginner to professional (grades 2-11). There are more than 250 different routes in four halls and two boulder areas and, with the outdoor facility, over 200 people can climb at any time; the centre is continually expanding. There is a bistro, a bar and a shop where you can buy all climbing equipment. The virtual tour on the website gives you a good idea of this amazing place.
