If you visit the Iuliomagus Roman Springs (see separate entry) just outside Schleitheim, you might consider combining it with a visit to the Schleitheim Lido. Located about 18 km northwest of Schaffhausen, it offers open-air bathing with good facilities. The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a 25-metre non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a water slide, water accessories, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets and a restaurant
