Developed in the 1960s, the Seebad Schenkon is located off the coastal road in an idyllic position on the eastern side of Lake Sempach and about 2.5 km from Sursee. The lake bathing is under lifeguard supervision and features include a children’s paddling pool, float, one-metre diving platform, waterslide, children’s playground and a games area for table tennis, boules and other sports. There are also grassed areas with shade, suitable for both sunbathing and picnics. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets and there is a kiosk/snack bar.
