Rodenbrunnen Lido is on the banks of the Rhine at Diessenhofen, about 11 km east of Schaffhausen; it offers both river swimming and open-air pool bathing with good facilities. The river bathing is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ open-air pool and a children’s paddling pool under lifeguard supervision. Features are a three-metre diving platform, water amusements including an ‘Octopus’ in the river, a large expanse of grassed area for sunbathing with shade, a beach volleyball court, children’s playground and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a restaurant and a barbeque area.
