The Rigiblick Funicular is owned by the Zürich public transport network (ZVV) and serves an attractive neighbourhood north of Zurich. The funicular rises 94 metres over a distance of some 400 metres and offers travellers a sweeping panoramic view of the city, Lake Zürich and the unmistakable Mount Rigi which is 1,797 metres above sea level. From the upper station, which is at an altitude of 586 metres, there is access to the many walking trails in the woods on the Zürichberg and more great views.
