The Schwimmbad Röhrli is located in rural surroundings just outside the attractive town of Unterstammheim, some 8.5 km southwest of Stein am Rhein. Whilst this open-air bathing complex opened in 1995, there has been a public swimming bath in the area since 1895. The swimmers’ pool has an attached non-swimmers’ area and is supplemented by a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a small waterslide, a lawn volleyball court, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include parking, changing cubicles, showers, toilets and a kiosk/restaurant. The complex is open from mid-May to mid-September.
