The Hallen und Freibad Rheinau is a combined indoor and outdoor bathing complex, located about 11.5 km southwest of Schaffhausen, with lifeguard supervision and spa facilities. The 50-metre open-air swimmers pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre platforms and a children’s paddling pool. Indoors there is a swimmers’ pool, a whirlpool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include various pool accessories, a children’s playground, grassed sunbathing areas with shade and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a sauna, solarium, restaurant and barbeque place. Massage is available.
