For those who like the idea of swimming in the River Rhine, the complex at Kaiseraugst, located next to a camping site, is an option. Situated about 6.5 km southwest of Rheinfelden, the facility also has the advantage of an on-shore non-swimmers’ pool. There are riverside grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is parking and also a barbeque area.
