The Strandbad Rheinwiesen is located about 3.5 km southeast of Schaffhausen, by the side of the River Rhine; it is on the left shortly before reaching Langwiesen. This is a pleasant place, which offers river bathing and has an open-air non-swimmers’ pool and children’s paddling pool; it is also a well known camping site. There is ample grassed sunbathing area with shade, a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other games. Facilities include changing cubicles, toilets and showers, a kiosk and a restaurant.
