The Regional Baths alongside the River Rhine at Bad Zurzach offer an alternative open-air bathing complex to the Thermal Baths (see separate entry). The pools are heated to around 28°C and, apart from the main 50-metre pool, there is a separate diving pool with 1-metre and 3-metre boards and both non-swimmers and children’s paddling pools. Other features are a 75-metre water slide, grassed sunbathing areas with shade, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court and a games area for table tennis, Frisbee, badminton etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers, toilets, a kiosk and a restaurant. The complex is also a camping site.
