Designed by the Zürich architect Matthias Vogel and built in 1716/17, the protestant Reformed Church is architecturally important as one of the earliest examples in Switzerland of a transversely oriented church. It was designed primarily for prayers and scripture readings and therefore has a solemn and formal interior. A feature is the Bossard organ, which was installed at a later date and came from the Verena Minster (see separate entry); it adds a somewhat lighter note to the interior with its dominant timber and stucco décor.
