On the west side of the Vevey Grand’ Place is the Jardin du Rivage, which is the site of wonderful open-air concerts during the season, as well as the beautiful Seahorse Fountain. From the market square and the Quai Perdonnet to the east there are magnificent views over the lake to the Savoy Alps, with the 2,172 metre Le Grammont in the foreground. The quay extends for 800 metres and is home to three sculptures, a bronze of "Première chevauchée de Bacchus" (1930), a bust of the poetess, Anna de Noailles (1876-1933) and a memorial to Charlie Chaplin.
