Out of season and during inclement weather, you might find yourself looking for an alternative attraction to the pretty beach on Lac Leman, la plage du Rolle (see separate entry). If this is the case, then the Piscine du Martinet swimming complex situated in the heart of the village of Rolle is the place to go. There is a 25-metre pool for swimming, which is open all year round except for when it is in use by the local school (see for details). There is a lifeguard on duty and the complex offers changing cubicles, lockers, toilets and showers.
