During winter months, on rainy days or for general relaxation, the Hallenbad Obwalden in Kerns, is an indoor pool complex with spa facilities and is located about 3 km northeast of Sarnen. The 16-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool, a massage pool and a children’s paddling pool. Features include a waterslide, sauna and solarium. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. Massage is available, as are fitness classes, and there is also a restaurant.
