Oberuzwil, a town with a population of some 5,500, is located 22 km west of St Gallen and has, in addition to its open-air lido (see separate entry), the Hallenbad Oberuzwil indoor baths complex under lifeguard supervision. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool heated to 30°C has various pool accessories, a solarium and a fitness centre. There is a wide range of swimming, aerobics, water gymnastics and other courses available. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, lockers showers and toilets, but there are no food outlets.
