The Strandbad Oberrieden is situated 2 km south of Thalwil and is another of the facilities on the western shore offering lake bathing in the attractive Zürichsee; it has the advantage of free entry. Features include a float, water slide, diving board, children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities provided include changing cubicles, showers and toilets and there is a restaurant.
