Located since 2001 close to the main railway station, the Haus Konstruktiv is run by a foundation for the purpose of promoting constructive, concrete and conceptual art and design. It was founded by private individuals in 1986 and runs exhibitions with the central theme of the dialogue between concrete art and the present. Exhibitors have included the Japanese artist Takehito Koganezawa and the Swiss artists Camille Graeser (1892-1980), Phillipe Decrauzat and Rudolf Crignis (1948-2006). In addition to exhibitions there is a shop, a library and a coffee shop.
