Zweisimmen provides many walking trails at any time of the year and one which is particularly recommended is the Mountain Forest Path, a circular route, the theme of which is the significance of forests. A brochure is available at the tourist office and guided tours are possible. The 6 km route takes you along the two Simme Rivers, past wooden houses and bridges with key places relating to the theme. This trail is particularly rewarding in autumn, when the forests are a blaze of colour.
