In addition to its Strandbad Sonnenfeld lake bathing area (see separate entry) Männedorf, located about 11 km northwest of Rapperswil-Jona, has the Hallenbad Männedorf, an indoor bathing complex under lifeguard supervision. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a mineral water non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, various pool accessories, a Tarzan course and a sunbathing area. Facilities include parking, a restaurant, solarium, changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. The complex is open throughout the year, except for a maintenance period.
