The Migros Museum of Contemporary Art was established in 1996 in the Löwenbräu complex, which also houses Daros Exhibitions (see separate entry). It occupies some 1,300 m² of floor area and the Migros Genossenschaft Association’s own collection, of approximately 1,300 works by some 700 artists, takes pride of place. The collection is supplemented by special exhibitions and there are public guided tours. Artists represented in the collection include Emmanuelle Antille, Angela Bulloch, Monica Bonvicini, Christoph Büchel, Maurizio Cattelan, Marc Camille Chaimowicz, Urs Fischer, Alicia Framis, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Paul Thek, and Stephen Willats.
