The town of Degersheim is situated about 17 km southwest of St Gallen and its Freibad Mühlefeld is an open-air bathing complex under lifeguard supervision. The 25-metre swimmers’ pool is supplemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, a waterslide, various pool accessories, a children’s playground, a beach volleyball court, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, lockers, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk and a restaurant.
