Located on a hill on the outskirts of Messen, approximately 18 km southwest of Solothurn, the Messen Lido is an open-air bathing complex with beautiful views and could be combined with golf at the Limpachtal Club (see separate entry). The 50-metre swimmers’ pool is complemented by a non-swimmers’ pool and a diving pool with 1-metre and 3- metre platforms. There are large grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis, etc. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a barbeque area, kiosk and a restaurant.
