Lenk’s winter sports areas are on both sides of the Simmental valley in which it is located. The Adelboden-Lenk ski region is accessed by the Metschbahn cableway and has many pistes, varying from easy to medium-difficult, a permanent race piste and snowboard parks. The area on the Betelberg, although smaller, is more family orientated with lots of interest for children, including a 3 km toboggan run from the Leiterli mountain station to that at Stoss. In the region there are more than 77 km of cross-country trails and 74 km of winter walking trails.
