The Lej Marsch Lake is situated just below Lej Nair, about 3.5 km southwest of St Moritz and near the Olympic ski jump. A very popular spot with both swimmers and sunbathers, it is 1,815 metres above sea level and entry is free. As the lake is on the edge of woods it gets sun and is protected from wind, summer water temperatures get to 20/21°C. Features include a sandy beach, one-metre diving boards, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, etc. Facilities include a restaurant, barbeque area, showers and toilets.
