Located on the Seestrasse coastal road, in a village approximately 6.5 km northwest of Schwyz, the attractive Seebad Lauerz on the Lauerzersee offers lake swimming, with the advantages of free entry and a children’s paddling pool. Other features include a float, waterslide, children’s playground, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and a games area for Frisbee, badminton and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is a kiosk and a barbeque area and this is a nice option for a family day’s outing.
