The beautiful Lake Zug, known locally as Zuger See, extends south from Zug and a wide range of boat trips is on offer. Particularly attractive are the evening trips and it is claimed that the sun sets nowhere better than over Lake Zug. There are a number of different culinary themes for these evening excursions. In summer you can dance the evening away on the music boats such as the salsa, disco and golden oldies or even watch a play. There are also popular brunch and lunchtime trips. The trips offer an ideal way to see Zug canton from a different perspective.
