Sachseln lies approximately 3.5 km south of Sarnen on the Seeweg coastal road. The Strandbad Sachseln is one of a number of attractive lake swimming complexes on the Sarnersee and has a sandy beach and a children’s paddling pool. Features include one-metre and three-metre diving platforms, floats, a beach volleyball court, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There is also a restaurant.
