Located at the southwest corner of Lake Sarnen, about 10 km southwest of the town of Sarnen, the Giswil Seebad is adjacent to a large camping site with many facilities (see website). Features of the complex , apart from lake bathing in the delightful Sarnensee, include a float, children’s playground, beach volleyball court, grassed areas with shade suitable for both sunbathing and picnics and games areas for Frisbee, badminton, table tennis and other sports. Facilities include changing cubicles, showers and toilets. There are barbeque places, a kiosk and a restaurant. Boats for fishing and pedalos can be hired.
